We bumped into a number of two wheeled travellers in Athens, so we decided to have a party!Here Elois and Julian (Cycling to Vietnam, http://www.jrdam.fr/), Josephine (their host in Athens) and Philip (motorbiking around Europe, North Africa and Asia).

It was great to have a third pair of hands to help when nails punctured Ed's tyre!
'Wild' camping (in every sense of the word)

Marks flambéed Oranges with 2 Euro raki (it came in a coke bottle and really was not worth drinking on its own).

It was really nice to be able to share Christmas day with Aziza and Yorma , two Dutch cycle tourers who we bumped into on a remote mountain road on Crete. Turns out they are also cycling to China (www.friendsonwheels.nl)! We all chipped in together to make a full Christmas dinner with almost all the trimmings including a 5kg turkey (we are cycling after all).

ReplyDelete- Ed; perhaps you should also have got excited about the hairbrushes and maybe asked to borrow one of them! I assume you're building up images for any future teacher applications!
- In another picture, by "...have a third pair of hands to help when nails punctured Ed's tyre", the photo suggests this actually means only two pairs of hands were required - Helen's and Mark's (who was meant to be on holiday) while Ed messed around taking pictures!
All looks superb and glad it's going well.
