That is Kashgar - in China. Are we really here? After several very, very beautiful, cold and hungry weeks, we have dropped down 3000m off the Pamir Plateau to the roasting hot oven of Kashgar.
There is a lot of food.. with taste... and vegetables.....mmmmmm. Thankfully, we have also finally managed to have a shower (bet you are glad you were not with us). There are shops selling... things... and people.. a lot of them. It's all a bit shocking...
Did I tell you about the food ? Water melons. Apricots. Ice cream. Spicy tasty dishes of interesting things. Food that is not
MashedPotatoMilkPowderSemolinaSuperNoodleOccasionalOnionDryBiscuit.
And sleep (when it is not too hot).
All we need to do, of course, is find an internet cafe that will simultaneously let us bypass the block on blogspot AND let us upload photos. We are looking.

Congratulations to both of you, but especially to Helen. What an achievement. We are all so proud of you (and a little relieved).
